Mr. Akdoğan is the principal tax advisor of Akdoğan Consulting, a professional consultancy partnership organization. He was previously a director of PwC’s tax team, where he worked for over twenty years providing consultancy, auditing and due diligence services to multinational and local investors. He has acted as a CPA for many major companies in the region.

Mr. Akdoğan specializes in statutory and international accounting standards and tax regulations, mergers and acquisitions, double taxation treaties, as well as audit of various business lines from a tax perspective. His experience includes providing audit, tax consultation, international tax structuring and due diligence services to private equity houses and multinational strategic investors with regards to their transactions in various industries. He has advised over 1,000 companies and lead the tax teams on more than 300 M&A transactions, including IPOs, in Turkey.

He also lectures on a part-time basis at various universities in Turkey, including Bilkent University and Boğaziçi University.
