Çakmak represented the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in its EUR 25 million loan to Çimsa.

We are proud to have represented The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in a EUR 25 million financing to Çimsa, a subsidiary of Sabanci Holding. This transaction aims to support Çimsa’s solar power plant and waste heat recovery investments as well as other energy efficiency investments in connection with its cement factory located at Eskişehir, Türkiye.

The Çakmak team was led by partners Devrim Ergun and Gökhan Okan and included counsels Aslı Pabuççuoğlu and Nazlı Başak Ayık, together with associates Yiğit Anıl Tarman and Pınar Bölükbaşıoğlu.
