We are pleased to have acted as Turkish counsel to Kuwait Finance House on its USD 500 million, 5-year murabaha financing, marking VakıfBank’s first-ever murabaha financing.
This transaction demonstrates international investor confidence in Türkiye’s banking sector and supports the continued development of cross-border Islamic finance between Türkiye and the GCC, with VakıfBank being Türkiye’s second-largest bank.
