Çakmak represented the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in its EUR 25 million loan to Şekerbank.

We are proud to have represented the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in relation to a EUR 25 million financing to Şekerbank T.A.Ş. under EBRD’s Green Economy Financing Facility II in Türkiye.

This transaction aims to enable Şekerbank to focus its lending on sustainable agriculture and energy efficiency, support rural farmers in land use optimization, and invest in internal capacity improvements.

The Çakmak team was led by partner Devrim Ergun and included counsel Aslı Pabuççuoğlu, together with associates Salih Kartal and Boran Akyıldız.
