Courtney Kirkman Gücük is a U.S.-qualified lawyer who focuses on international arbitration matters, particularly in the energy and construction sectors. She has been involved, with significant roles, in arbitrations and pre-arbitration contexts under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, the American Arbitration Association, the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes, the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution, and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law for ad hoc proceedings. She has worked on disputes governed by common law and by civil law.
Courtney also has experience with litigation, including securities and corporate governance litigation, and international corporate internal investigations, particularly in relation to the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
